Zombie Concept Art
So last week I got a commissioned to create some concept art/ illustration pieces to help pitch some short films based on an upcoming zombie game. At this point it doesn't look like the projects going to go through but at least I got paid for making some cool art. The above pieces were drawn and Inked by hand then scanned in an coloured using Photoshop, Enjoy.

Spitballin Pin-up
So back in February I got asked to do a guest submission over at Spitballin, It's a great site run by some friends of mine from school. Each week they come up with a comic character and everyone submits their interpretation of said character. I got asked to draw Captain Cold who is a member of the Flash's rogues gallery, and though I wasn't too familiar with the character I gave it a shot and had a lot of fun with it. I penciled and inked it traditionally, then scanned it in and Coloured the piece with photoshop. Don't forget to check out the site at http://spitballincomics.blogspot.ca/ and enjoy!

Convention Sketches
Last August I had a table at Fan-Expo in Toronto. While I was there I was promoting my at the time new web comic I Heart Viking while selling a print and doing some sketches. So I thought I'd show everyone some of the sketches I did for commissions and include the print I was selling. The Final Fantasy one was the hardest as I've never played the game and didn't know who the characters looked like. Basically I took a picture of the guy who wanted the commission and used the Internet to look up Tifa Lockhart, Aerith Gainsborough and the buster sword. Unfortunately Fan Expo destroys all cell phone communication every year. So I only got a few glimpses of the characters before it stopped working, but in general I thought it turned out pretty good. As for the Emma and Dianna print I draw and Inked it by hand with colours in photoshop.

Webcomics
So about a year and a half ago I started and launched a web comic called I Heart Viking. I got everything up and running for fan expo but right after I realize that my sight had some serious technical flaws and didn't work with certain browsers. So I tried finding someone to fix it but i took along time and most options usually cost more then I could afford. Eventually about 6 months ago I met a guy named Eugene Fong who could help me out with my site in exchange for creating the art for his own web comic, which he wanted to start. So Skip to last month, where we watched both web comics together on new sites using Comicpress, which is a version of Wordpress. You can check out both the sites at www.iheartviking.com and www.weekendpass.net. Ill be posting as I update the sites and to give you an idea of what their about I've included some art for you.

The 4 Horsemen
So as one one my final projects for school last year i had to draw a man riding a horse in my own style and the reinterpret it in 3 additional styles by specific artists. So the first one is in my style, the second is based off picasso's cubism, the third is a van gogh style and the final one is the style of Miro. Their all done tradionaly with mine in Inks, Picasso in markers, Van Gogh in Acrylic and Miro in watercoulour. In general I'm pretty happy with the way they turned out especially the Miro.
